About SmileBay Academy
SmileBay Signature debuts SmileBay Academy, the first dental training academy in the northern region. Located on the first floor of SmileBay Signature, SmileBay Academy is fully equipped to host lectures and hands-on training sessions, which will be open for all dentists, dental technicians and dental nurses to participate. As the saying goes: “by learning you will teach, and by teaching you will learn”. We believe that providing training courses to others pushes us to further improve our team’s competency and provide the best for our patients.

Dr Ellie is the chairperson of SmileBay Academy. A graduate of DDS (MAHSA), Dr Ellie successfully completed the McGann Implant Course and Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA). Her passion lies in transformative smile makeovers through Digital Smile Design, Computer Guided Implant Surgery and Full Mouth Rehabilitation.
She is also a certified Invisalign provider

Dr Ian is the event moderator of SmileBay Academy. A graduate of DDS (MAHSA), Dr Ian is a MAHSA Gold Medalist and has successfully completed the McGann Implant Course and Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA). He specializes in Computer Guided Implant Surgery, Digital Smile Design Smile Makeovers, Full Mouth Rehabilitation and Microscopic Root Canal Therapy.

Dr Chuah is the event moderator of SmileBay Academy. Dr Chuah graduated with a BDS (AIMST) and successfully completed the Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA) and Mini-Residency in Implant Dentistry. She served in the Malaysia Ministry of Health before joining SmileBay Dental Surgery where she always refines her knowledge by attending conferences and workshops.

As the Founder and Managing Director of SmileBay Dental Group and SmileBay Signature as well as the Advisor of SmileBay Academy, Dr Yong is passionate in group management and clinical dentistry, especially in the field of implantology. He is a member of the International Team of Implantologists and specializes in Advanced Dental Implant Surgery, Bone and Soft Tissue Grafting, All-on-4 Implants and Full Mouth Rehabilitation.
